Linguisle helps you read and learn foreign languages on macOS. We process data under a minimum-necessary principle and collect only what is needed to provide features, keep the service stable, and diagnose issues.

Information We Process

• Device identifiers: used for rate limits, error tracking, and remote configuration. They are not used for cross-product advertising tracking.
• Learning content: when you use translation, read-aloud, dialogue, or article generation, the related text is sent to the Linguisle cloud service for processing.
• Diagnostics: including version number, language settings, error type, and request status, used to locate issues.
• Account information: if you sign in with Apple, we store the stable user identifier returned by Apple and the necessary session information.

Third-Party Services

The Linguisle cloud service may call language model, translation, speech synthesis, and infrastructure providers. We route these calls through the server where possible to avoid exposing provider keys in the client.

Your Choices

You can stop using cloud features, delete the local app, or contact support to request deletion of data associated with your device or account.
